Aya Matsushita

Aya Matsushita was born in Miyazaki, Japan, and studied piano at the Toho Gakuen Music Academy. She continued her studies at the Rostock Academy of Music and Theatre with Bernd Zack, graduating with distinction in 2015. She laid the foundations for her successful career with a First Prize at the International Competition "Verfemte Musik", the prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary work at the 20th International Piano Competition "Ennio Porrino" in italy and a prize at the prestigious "Concours de Genève".

 

Today, Matsushita appears regularly in concert in her homeland and internationally, accompanied by leading orchestras. Aya Matsushita currently lives in Seoul, South Korea.
